WHO ARE WE
Hood to Higher Education is a multi- cultural educational organization that provides workshops to encourage literacy development for our marginalized youth (Black & Latino).
WHAT WE DO
We lead workshops and faculty training on how to implement culturally responsive teaching into curriculum.
We also provide youth from urban areas a guide on how to get into college, maintaining success while in college, and motivation for graduating college.
WHY WE DO IT
Our aim is to enhance reading, writing, and critical thinking skills of urban youth by fostering knowledge of self.
